Oud Valley

Renewed visual identity of Oud Valley.

Established in 2018 and located in south Malaysia, the 12-hectare plantation hosts a collection of distinctive agarwood trees. These trees serve a multitude of purposes, ranging from traditional uses like incense and perfumes to modern applications in cosmetics and consumables. Oud Valley's products are available for retail in Malaysia, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and the United Arab Emirates.

In the effort to create a distinctive brand image for the newly rebranded Oud Valley, we meticulously devised a comprehensive visual guide that encapsulates the brand's core values. This process involved extensive meetings, discussions, and brainstorming sessions to ensure the alignment of the visual identity with the brand's objectives.

A visual identity that is recognisable and tells a story.

The logo displays a combination of elements that depict the importance of Shariah compliance in the brand's ethics as well as the objective of being socially responsible sustainable to the environment at all stages of manufacturing from the planting to the commercialisation of its products.

The outer geometrical star is a well-known symbol in Islamic art while the inner sections are leaves—which symbolises the importance of nature in the brand's identity. The wordmark compliments the emblem and gives the brand logo a complete and professional look as a whole.
